WE HAVE COMPLETED THE RENOVATION OF THE SIDE ALTAR
We have completed the renovation works of one of the side altars in St. Michael the Archangel church in Daleszyce. We wrote about the start of works in previous news – here >>.
The side altar of St. Francis was in poor condition and required thorough conservation works. Layered and degraded gilding required to be removed – we have cleaned it using the LASERBLAST 2000 laser. We have recreated the original colors along with gold leaves’ gilding. Part of the details was transported to the workshop for reconstruction, after their dismantling; moreover, we placed the paintings on new frames and at the same time we repaired missing parts and abrasions.
Works on the second of the altars are still going on and are to be completed already in this year.
