CHURCH OPEN FOR VISITORS!

We are happy to inform that the building of the hospital and the Holy Spirit Church in Szydłów are officially open for tourists and history enthusiasts.

This building was built in the second half of the 14th century. In 1368, King Casimir III the Great, thanks to the support of the Pope, founded the Franciscans monastery added to the facility, which in the sixteenth century was transformed into a hospital prototype, reminding the current shelter for the poor. The temple was destroyed and rebuilt several times.
Currently, thanks to the conservation and renovation works carried out by us, the facility is adapted and open to the public.

We put our heart in stone.
