COMPLETION DATE: 2010—2013
Early Baroque court-palace complex was built in the early 17th century at the order of Stefan Bidziński, staroste of Chęciny. Over the centuries, it was subject to different reconstructions, its function also changed, however, has it not lost its historic value.
Regional Science-Technology Centre took over the entire complex in 2010 and started the actions aiming at restoring the former glory of this unique monument. Thorough renovation along with adaptation to new goals included the archaeological, repair, construction, renovation and restoration works. The following have been executed: interior and exterior plasters, stone cladding of floors and stairs, laminate flooring, wooden handrails, railings and stone portals as well as thermal insulation of the building. Apart from that, ceramic tiles roofing has been replaced, historic roof truss has been repaired and maintained.
A thorough renovation along with adaptation to new purposes included the archaeological, repair, construction, renovation and restoration works.
We have executed interior and exterior plasters, renovated stone cladding of floors and stairs as well as floor panels.
We have decorated the Italian garden with sculptures of the four seasons.
