UNUSUAL DISCOVERY

We are excited to announce that during the construction and conservation works carried out in the outbuildings of the Palace in Kozłówka, we made a discovery of a historic furnace from the 19th century.

The find was cemented in the basement of the northern outbuilding. It is difficult to say how the furnace got there, because originally it was heating the palace chapel. Originally it installed at the time when it was being built, i.e. no later than in the first decade of the twentieth century. The origninators of the furnace are Warsaw’s entrepreneurs, Piotr Drzewiecki and Jan Jeziorański.
